About Plainhub

Plainhub is a startup finance app that keeps your cash, burn, runway and MRR live from the money you record, with no bank logins and no spreadsheets.

A founder deciding whether to hire needs to know how many months the current cash will cover. That answer depends on income and costs that keep changing. We built Plainhub to calculate runway from the figures you record and show what another monthly cost would change.

Accounting software and your accountant keep the books. A spreadsheet can hold a detailed forecast. Plainhub handles a narrower daily job: keeping a runway estimate current as you record changes.

Plainhub closes that gap. You record what happens in the business as it happens, in plain language, and your runway, burn and revenue stay current. You maintain the entries; Plainhub handles the calculations. It does not connect to your bank. The number that decides whether your company survives should be one you can see at any moment, not one you rebuild the night before a board meeting.

It is not accounting software. It will not file your taxes, chase your invoices or close your books.

It never connects to your bank. No logins, no statement uploads, no imports. You record the handful of events that actually move the number, which is faster and keeps your accounts your own.

And it is not a forecasting suite for a finance team. It answers a founder’s question, how long you have and what changes it, and leaves the heavy modeling to the people who do that full time.
